10" colour touchscreen: 1805 & 1886 series
Modern digital technology for safety-current-limited applications or those at 500 VA / 200 mA.
The surge tester ST 4000B was developed for uses of all kinds – no matter if in production, quality assurance, development or repair. Almost 40 years of experience in safety test technology have flown into its development – the result is a surge tester on the cutting edge of technology.

Winding goods like stators, coils or transformers can be examined precisely and comfortably with the surge tester ST 4000B. Just like that, winding shorts and insulation faults inside a winding can be recognised even before the fault has an effect on the DUT. This avoids breakdowns of electric motors and any related call-backs.
Due to the well-known Windows operating system in combination with the big 10.1” touch display, the ST 4000B is as easily usable as a modern smartphone. You can integrate the ST 4000B into your company’s network without any problems due to numerous interfaces like USB and Ethernet / LAN. The DAT software developed by SPS electronic, which has an extensive test editor, does not only allow the creation and parameterisation of own test programs but also a comfortable evaluation, saving and processing of the test results. Alternatively, we provide a DLL as an attachment to support your individual software creation.
The ST 4000B can be combined with additional testing technology from SPS electronic without any problems. Thus, the surge tester can be expanded by a partial discharge test, a resistance test or a hipot test, depending on the requirements.
