VDE standard

The VDE (Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies reg.), already founded in 1893, is committed to a better climate for innovation and safety standards. It also advocates a modern engineering education and high technical acceptance in the population. Science, standardization and product testing are united under one "roof" at the VDE. The American version is known as UL standard (Underwriter's Laboratories).

The Association focuses on the safety in electrical engineering, the development of codes of practice as national and international standards and the testing and certification of devices and systems.

The SPS electronic GmbH manufactures in Germany safety tester for electrical safety testing. Both as a single device and as part in automation the SPS test system is used. Test systems of SPS convince by their excellent quality and the comprehensive SPS service for safety test devices. SPS devices and systems are applied worldwide in production to obtain the VDE standard.
