Continuity test
The DUT at which a continuity test is carried out in the course of an electrical safety test by a safety test device or a test system must be safely connected. Only then can this internal test be performed. The continuity test shows whether electric current flows and whether the DUT is properly connected. As a rule this safety test is performed with 24 / 22 V DC.
