Test adapters for DUT connection
Test adapter
- via standardized plug and socket connections all of the test cages and test adapters we supply to the customer are interchangeable
- single function adapters are manually adjustable via carriage and limit switch, this means variants can be tested also
- a pneumatic clamping unit for defined test positions
- screws for the enclosure are pneumatically contacted with spring contact pins in 4-wire technique - with this method a missing screw can be pin pointed
- the gear housing is pneumatically contacted with two carbide tipped rotary contact pins - this way coats of lacquer can be penetrated
- the pole shoe is contacted with carbide tipped spring contact pins through an opening in the enclosure
- the contact control in the armature and the pole shoe is made via current recognition contacts
- the switching on or off of the DUT is solved pneumatically by means of a special adapter - (the ON switch must not be locked after having been activated)
- the number of revolutions and the sense of rotation is performed via a live spindle with integrated pinion and special sensor
- all PASS DUTs are identified at their plastic enclosure with a hot forming punch - these forming punches can be exchanged manually
