Compact testers of series 3881 combine protective wire, insulation, high voltage and function test in one device allowing tests according to many standards (IEC, EN, UL, VDE, etc.).This device concept meets all the application requirements for manual operation, automatic protocolling as well as a fully automatic system application. Software packages for remote control support complete concepts and OEM-users.

Special attention has been paid to a user-friendly operation via knob and a 5.7" colour display. As an option a keyboard or a barcode reader can be connected via a USB interface. The programme memory adapts dynamically to the test requirements. Up to 8 digital IN- / OUTPUTS are processed during the test allowing the realization of small customer-specific test stations with adapters and switch matrix without additional controls. Optionally, up to 24 digital IN-/OUTPUTS are possible. Via a comfortable WINDOWS-software remote control with a PC is possible. The printer interface allows protocols of all parameters and test and measurement results according to standard.

Due to the integrated Ethernet interface several compact testers of series 3881 can be operated in a network with one server PC. The setup of this network solution allows the reading-in of the DUT directly at the compact tester via a connected barcode reader. Selection of test programme and filing of test results is carried out on the server PC.
